A POWERFUL MESSAGE TO KEEP YOU GOING IN LIFE
AN inspiring lesson which was shared with me on www.ted.com platform and i also wants to share with my reader. i have been away for too long and its now time for me to starts all over. pls read and apply it in your daily life.
A few years ago I put together a handful of quotes and
writings, paraphrased some and put them all in first person. I have shared them
with some of my family because they have been very useful to me, and I thought
I would share them with t he TED community. They are as follows:
I am wholly responsible for my present condition and will
have exactly the future I am now creating. Every action I take permanently
affects myself and countless others both now and in the future. The ability to
consciously choose gives me the power to change the world around me. I am
responsible for the predictable consequences of my actions. All I am is a
result of what I have thought, said, and done. I will arrange whatever pieces
come my way. Every action I perform on the external world reacts on me. Every
selfish act adds another layer to my ego and in thickening it, insulates more
from God. Conversely, every action done without thought for myself diminishes
my self centeredness until finally no barrier separates me from the divine. All
here and all now. I will permit no man to narrow and degrade my soul by making
me hate him. Through my eyes the universe is perceiving itself. Through my
ears, the universe is listening to its cosmic harmonies, and I am the witness
through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, its magnificance.
The stuff of my being is matter, ever moving, ever changing, but never lost. I
am one with the infinite and need no other assurances. To love, to be loved. To
never forget myown insignificance.to never get used to the unspeakable violence
and vulgar disparity of life around me. To seek joy in the saddest places and
pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate
what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch, to try
and understand, to never look away, and never, never to forget.
This has become thesong that never ends in m y head and
heart, and I thank those who wrote and spoke these words.
